This year Joe and I had a great Christmas. It worked out that we both had the 24-26 off together, so we took a little Christmas Vacation. After work on the 23 we headed to Nephi to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning with his family. It was fun and relaxing to be with them. We watched movies, I help cook, Joe hung out with his brother and we just visited. I am so lucky to have such great in-laws. On Christmas we all slept in till about 9:30 then opened presents and had breakfast. Yummy waffles and breakfast casserole. Then Joe and I packed up and went to my mom's house for her Christmas dinner. It was great like always. I love my family and I love spending time with them. Christmas night Joe and I spent it at the Anniversary Inn, where I work so I get a pretty good discount. We got lucky and was able to stay in one of my favorite rooms, The Lake Powell. After a busy week and an even busier past few months it was nice to spend that time together. I am lucky to have such a great husband. The next day so the 26th, we had dinner with a couple of friends at Ruth's Chris Stakehouse. It a really fancey stakehouse with amazing food. So all in all we had a great christmas. I love to spend the holiday with family. We have great families and I love them all.
Sorry in all the fun we forgot to get pictures.

I'm done with school or is school done with me....
Yesturday, I had to present my portfolio to a couple of the professors and then they do sort of a job interview. They ask you questions about your drawings and they grade you on how well you do. My appointment was at 9:30 and just as I had feared I ended up getting two of the three professors that I haven't ever had classes with. As we went over my drawings I started wishing that I hadn't taken two years off in the middle of working towards my degree. It made it really hard to remember exactly what I did and what different symbols mean. Though it really felt like a job interview because I'm sitting in a room with two people I'd just met. I know I would have done better if I'd gotten at least one professor that I knew. Well, No matter how much I have forgotten or knew and just answered wrong I did pass and now I am offically graduating. Tomorrow, I am taking my last final and I will be done. What am I going to do now you ask? I am going to try and find a job in the field and I am going to do all that I can to help Joe finish his bachelors and then his masters. In the future, when Joe's all finished with school and if we can afford it, I would really like to get an engineering degree. The future is bright...
I just need to work on having more confidence in myself (as was pointed out to me yesturday).

This week has been pretty busy for me and Joe. We both have finished up the last week of classes and now it's onto finals. On Monday, I turned in my final project for Electrical. It's call a Motor-In-A-Cup and it ran on the first try. I was shock and relieved, cause I didn't want to have to try and get it to run. Tuesday evening I want to my work party and I had a blast. The people I work with are awsome. Wednesday and Thursday I just spent working on my protfolio. I have to present it this coming monday. I hope it passes. Friday or rather yesturday, we went to the Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert it was amazing. I love listening to them sing, but seeing them in a concert is great. They had a guess singer preforming with them and he was spectacular. I hope you all get a chance to see the concert on TV when they broadcast it. As for today, I just worked and have taked a much needed R&R.
Here are some pictures from my work party.

I think I'm hook.....
I didn't think it would happen, but it did. You ask what is it that's got me hook? Well, I shall tell you. It all started out earlier this evening. I went to hang out with some friends. We had an eventful evening planned. First we went to dinner. Actually it turned out to be just Sara and I that went, because of some miscommunication between Sara and Kendra, that Kendra wasn't quite ready to go out and she had already eaten. After dinner and the yummy Cafe Rio, we picked up Kendra and we headed to the movie theater. I'm sure a lot of you probably know know what I'm hooked on but I'm going to continue my little story for those that may not have quessed. Any back to my story. Well, we get the the theater and Sara passes out our tickets. Then for some reason I started getting really excited for the show. I started dancing around and acting like a little kid. The theater we went to had a clock in front of the doors to go to the show. It would show the time then what movie and what time the movie started and how many more minutes there were till it started. So when it said 20 more min. I started jumping up and down and yelling 20 more minutes. Then as it was started I kept saying I'm soooo excited to see Twilight. Yes, I went and saw Twilight. Loved the movie. Enjoyed it soooooooo much now I really want to see the books. Though I'm glad I waited to see the movie before starting the books, because it made the movie more suspenceful and I loved not know what was going to happen. But alas, I am hooked and I was really convinced that it wouldn't happen. Maybe next time I won't get hooked on the next big book series. Yeah right! Didn't happen with Harry Potter and now Twilight. I should just give in....

Children
It seems like a lot of people I know are pregnant. Sometimes I think how different my life would be if I had a kid right now. I know I wouldn't be going to school and I most likely would still have to work, so for now having no kids is what's best for us. I just hope that when the time is right that I will be prepared to be a mom and be able to give the love and support that I never got growing up. It scares me to think that I could possibly be responsible for another human being. But with faith and trust in God, he will help me be the best mother I can be.

What to blog about....
I've been meaning to post something all week, but just haven't known what to say. So, this will be my random blog of the week.
First of all my job. I love my job. It is so much fun, though sometimes I feel like I don't really fit in. Probably just because I'm still new, but who knows. It doesn't change the fact that I love it. Plus, it has great perks. Joe and I got to stay at the Logan location 2 weeks ago at a really good price. We had so much fun and it was nice to be able to check out their location.
Second, my husband is the most wonderful man ever. He's so busy with work and school, but he always spends about an hour every night with me. Sometimes when I work at night and he's had the night off. I come home and he'll have a bath all ready for me and while I'm taking the bath, he makes dinner. How did I ever get so lucky? Joe, I'm not sure if you'll ever read this, but I'll say it anyway, I love you more then anything. I'm so glad to have you as my husband.
Last of all, I just want to let you all know how happy I am at this moment to finally have the bus that goes by my place no longer on detour. This is going to make my life sooooooooo much easier. Horray, for UTA to finally give me back what I needed so much. Oh, wait the bus has been on detour since we moved here, so really they're not giving it back to me. They're just giving me what I've been wishing for.
Umm... maybe that wasn't as random as I thought it was going to be. I just started typing and it just came out in perfect order. Well, that's all I have for now.

A really great weekend!
It's been a few weeks since my last post. My goal was to up date this about once a week, but that may or may not always happen. My life is crazy with school, work and housework. Speaking of housework, I'm way behind.
Well, now I'll tell you all about my really great weekend. Which actually kind of started last thursday, when Joe, his dad, and I went to the U of U vs. Organ State football game. It was a really good game. U of U won by one point. They were able to pull off the win in the last few minutes of the game. Too bad for all those people who left early thinking we were going to loose, they missed the best part of the game.
As for friday and saturday, I'm sure were pretty exciting. I just can't seem to remember much about what happened those days. All I remember is watching the BYU game on friday and working both those days.
Then n sunday we were invited my my in-laws to go to the sunday afternoon session of conference with them. They had gotten tickets from their stake. It was my first time attending General Conference and it was wonderful. The spirit was really strong. If you ever get the opportunity to go, you definitly should make every effort to make it.
I really enjoyed listening to Presisdent Monson. He has always been my favorite apostle all my life, so it was really neat for me to be able to listen to him speak in person. Afterwards, I watch with envy as he shook hands with all those who were fortunate enough to sit on the front row. Maybe some day I'll be able to shake his hand. If not in this life, I will for sure get to in the next.
I hope you all were able to listen to conference. The sunday sessions were the only ones I got to hear, but I plan on watching the saturday ones sometime this week online.
Well, till next week.... maybe I'll even figure out how to post pictures by then. ;-)

Money
It never seems that I have enough of it... I've been thinking about it a lot lately. Probably because we're waiting for our loans to go through so our school is paid for. Hopefully that will all go through soon, so then that will be one last thing to worry about. We've been cutting back on a lot of expences too because it seem we are having a hard time keeping up with bills and stuff. One of the things we have cut back is buying gas. Since we get free bus/trax fare through school, we now take those whenever possible. It's been nice not having to buy gas as often. I'm sure we all stress out about money, so wouldn't it be nice if things didn't cost so much. Maybe someday we'll be more finacial secure.
Here's a neat thought Joe shared with me today. He had heard it on KSL radio on sunday. In between songs they had a guy share spiritual thoughts. This particular one Joe really liked. The guy said, "Any goal that's important to us that's a good cause is important to god and he will help us reach that goal."
