Come Play Along

Since its been a year and a half from when I started this blog, I have decided to do a little give away.
There will be two winners. The first place winner will get their choice of one of these prize packages and a bonus prize. The 2nd place winner gets the prize package that the 1st place winner doesn't pick.

1st package is the Kitchen Package.
It contains a homemade apron (sewn by me), brownie mix, mixing bowl, and mixing spoons.

2nd package is the Spa Package
It contains a candle, bubble bath, body wash, and lotion.

A weekend without Joe

I spent the weekend alone with James. Joe had gone camping for a class. He left early Saturday and returned Sunday evening.

My weekend turned out to be quite an adventure. I decided to hang out with my best friends on Saturday. We went to diner and to see Alice in Wonderland. I highly recomend you go see it, if you haven't yet. Just keep in mind that it isn't like the Disney version or the books. Though I did miss a little bit when James decided he couldn't wait for his diaper to be changed. Over all it was an adventure bringing a baby to the movie.

Sunday ended up being a lazy day. I woke up with the flu, so I tried to hold James as little as possible which didn't work out very well. James just wanted me to hold him and give him attention all day. Now I hope he doesn't get sick too. Joe came home from camping around 7 and he too had the flu. we spent the rest of the night being two sickies watching episodes of Kitchen Nightmares.

Back to Work and an Awesome Giveaway

Monday was my first day back to work. It actually wasn't too bad. No complaints from guests and I still remembered how to do everything. I'm going to be working the afternoon shift now, so that will take awhile to get the hang of.  Though I missed being at home with James. I don't know if I'll ever get use to being away from him. We're trying to make it so that James is at a babysitters as little as possible and so far it is working out nicely. I hope everything continues to work.

James is now a month old. I can't belive how fast he is growing. He's almost too big for the newborn clothes and diapers. I was hoping to post a picture of him, but I can't find the camera. Joe uses it for school so I'm sure he has it. I'll be sure to post one as soon as I can.
