We had professional pictures done of our family back in March. I've had the CD for a few weeks and just finally getting around to posting some of them.  They turned out really well, despite James not wanting to smile or really cooperate.

Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays

I actually posted this two days ago, but for some reason it has disappeared from blogger. :( So here it is again.


It seems that there has been a lot of birthday's the past 2 weeks. Probably because there has been. 8 in my family alone. Crazy! 


Last Saturday we attended two birthday parties. One for a friend of Joe's daughter and the other for my nephew. James got a little worn out by the time my nephew's party rolled around in the evening, but we had a good day.

Monday, Joe turned the BIG 30!

We had a low key kind of day. I was a little lame and didn't think to plan a shindig. Oh, well. We had a great time just the two of us. We got a babysitter. Yes, a babysitter! Doesn't happen often with us. Went out to dinner at Archibald's and saw Fast Five. The movie is awesome and I recommend it to anyone who loves car chasing type movies. 

And we have standing...

James pulled himself up to stand today. Once again he has mastered a gross motor skill right before his well visit. It seems like each time we've gone the doctor has said if he's not so such and such by the next time, then it will be time to worry and possibly send him to a specialist. Well, thanks James for waiting till the last minute to do things, but at least you're advanced in your fine motor skills or this mom would completely go crazy with worry. 

Since you like to make my life interesting by waiting till the last minute. I guess I'll have to wait till July for you to walk.
