What a Week
This week has been quite the week for us.
Monday, we signed a lease and plan on moving in next week.
Tuesday afternoon, we get a call from our current apartment managers saying that an management position for apartments down the street from us owned by the same people just came available and the owners were interested in interviewing us for the job along with a few other possible candidates. The job includes a 2 bedroom apartment free of rent and a monthly salary, where I can work from home. Always been a dream of mine to work from home. Granted not doing apartment managing, but I'll take what I can get.
Wednesday, was spent talking to the owners, updating and sending in my resume, and setting up an interview time.
Thursday, was my interview. After a busy day at work answering phones, I went to my interview. Interviews are always rough for me. No matter what I do, I clam up. It's a surprise I've been able to get a job. Did I mention it was my birthday as well? Not really my ideal birthday. Oh, well, if I really didn't want to work, I could have asked for it off.
Now today is Friday, just waiting to hear if I got the job or not. The possibilities of what next few weeks will bring are swimming in my mind. Made it hard to fall asleep last night. Just crossing my fingers that I got the job and we'll then worry about selling our new lease. One way or another things will work out, they always do.

July 4th (3rd....5th....)
I guess it's better late then never to post about our 4th (3rd/5th) of July. I ended up having most of that weekend off, which was awesome.
On the 3rd, after I got off work, we headed to Nephi for bbqing with Joe's family. It was nice relaxing by the creek that goes through their back yard and just being with family. James sported his almost too small 4th of July shirt that day.
James turned 5 months about a week ago. I wish he would stop growing so fast. He's now able to roll over on to his stomach, but then starts to get mad cause he can't go any where. It's getting easier for him to just lay there and play even though he's stuck. I'm sure in no time he'll be crawling all over and then I'll really have to baby proof my house.
He now sticks he's legs through the bars and they've almost gotten stuck a few times. I've started making bumper pads to prevent the sticking of legs in bars. I'm about 2/3 done. They are going to be so cute. I'll post pictures of the finish product.

We spent the night went to church, then headed to my mom's house for more bbqing and fireworks. It was fun visiting with my family and seeing all the nieces and nephews. After dinner, while we were waiting for it to get dark, we went for a walk around the neighborhood. I wish I had a picture of our walk. My sister and I have the exact same brand of stroller and they're basically the same colors. We probably made quite the scene. Fireworks were awesome as always. Even if it was a quick little show. Though we had this box of ones that just flashed and my brother in law said they were going to cause seizures. Ah, good times. James just stared and stared at the fireworks. I was kind of surprised he didn't cry or anything.
